Denverites can expect more of the same as Monday’s weather follows seasonal norms.
Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 92 degrees and an evening low of 63 degrees Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Skies are expected to be mostly clear and sunny until clouds move in this afternoon.
The weather service reports a 20% chance of showers in the metro area after noon Monday. There’s a slight risk of more severe thunderstorms in the northeast and east-central Plains where quarter-sized hail and 60 mph winds are possible.
Tuesday looks to be the coolest day of this week with a high predicted to hit 88 degrees and a 50% chance of showers, the NWS reports.
The rest of the week is forecast to have highs in the 90s with a continued chance for scattered afternoon showers.
