George and Charlotte’s ‘Jubilee behaviour’ sees them in Wales – but no Louis

Prince George and Princess Charlotte made a surprise visit to Wales with their parents as royal fans say it is a reward for ‘'exemplary Jubilee behaviour' – but Prince Louis stays home.

Kate Middleton and Prince William have arrived in the country ahead of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebration Concert at Cardiff Castle along with George and Charlotte.

One user tweeted: “What an accolade, at their age, to be included. Reward perhaps for their exemplary Jubilee behaviour.”

Another commented: “William and Kate bring their children George and Charlotte to Wales, this is a very nice surprise.”

Other users were also left wondering where Louis was with many fans looking forward to seeing him at future royal engagements following his expressions on the Buckingham Palace Balcony.

Louis was seen making several faces as he stole the show on Thursday (June 2) as he stood next to the Queen and at one point grabbed his ears during the traditional flyover.

There were also many users sticking up for Louis and his antics at Trooping the Colour during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

One tweeted: “He's a normal 4 year old – my grandsons would have done exactly the same. They jumped when the Red Arrows went over yesterday.”

Another user said: “Sweet, well mannered children but where’s Prince Louis when we need him most?”

While a third added: “He is not there because he is only 4 years old. Too much for a little one.”

The couple and their children are due to watch rehearsals and meet some of the acts taking part in the celebrations including Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler.
