Meghan’s friend shared a two-year-old video from Times Square on Thursday night. The Canadian stylist’s post comes as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are in New York for Global Citizen Live.

It is not clear why Jessica shared the clip but it could be a hint that she will meet Meghan and Harry while they are on their Big Apple tour.

Meghan became friends with Jessica when she lived in Toronto while filming TV drama Suits.

Jessica attended Meghan and Harry’s royal wedding in 2018 and her three children were among the bridesmaids and pageboys.

When she was pregnant with Archie in 2019, Meghan was treated to a luxurious baby shower in New York by her friends including Jessica.

Last year, Jessica stepped back from social media after becoming embroiled in a row with a black influencer.

Jessica’s video comes as the Sussexes were spotted out with their friends Misha Nonoo and Mikey Hess at Carlyle Hotel’s Bemelmans Bar on Wednesday night.

On Thursday, Meghan and Harry stepped out for a series of appearances in New York.

They visited the city’s One World Trade Centre, built on the site of the twin towers which were destroyed in the September 11 attacks.

They posed for the media at the top of the skyscraper against the panoramic backdrop, alongside New York City mayor Bill de Blasio and Governor of New York State Kathy Hochul on Thursday morning.

Asked if she was enjoying her trip to New York, Meghan smiled and replied: “It’s wonderful to be back, thank you.”

And yesterday, the couple visited a school where Meghan read from her children’s book The Bench.

Harry and Meghan met youngsters from the Harlem school to promote literacy.

Later today they are set to take part in a worldwide event urging leaders to adopt a vaccine equity policy to help end the Covid pandemic.

Harry and Meghan are joining the 24-hour broadcast Global Citizen Live being staged in New York’s Central Park and around the world.

It is part of a number of shows being held in cities from London to Lagos by the organisation Global Citizen, with artists including Ed Sheeran, Sir Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Metallica and Coldplay scheduled to perform.

Harry and Meghan moved to California last year after quitting royal duties.
