Most pampered pooches in UK from Cavapoochons to Shih-poos

We all like to treat our dogs when we can, whether that’s with some new treats, a shiny toy or a flash new collar.

However, research suggests that some breeds get more star treatment than others.

Across the UK, a study carried out by personalised dog gift shop has identified the breeds of our four-legged friends that are pampered the most by their humans.

The study is based on the highest average spend by the owners of each breed, with more than 300 popular breeds and over 450,000 individual pet profiles used for the results. .

It turns out that, across the whole country, the breed most likely to be showered in treats and toys by their humans is a Cavapoochon.

The doggos favoured for their ‘forever young’ look, resembling a puppy even well into their adult years, make them a prime target for some extra loving.

Another breed that gives the impression of an eternal puppy comes in second, with the Maltipoo the next most indulged dogs.

With the big black eyes that will melt anyone’s heart, it’s not hard to see why!
