Journalist Annette Witheridge appeared on ITV’s “Ghislaine, Prince Andrew and the Paedophile” and discussed what the Duke of York was like as a young royal and before he was married. Ms Witheridge remarked he was a “dashing prince” who was a confident military man in the Navy. But the documentary noted how Prince Andrew “put his bachelor days behind him” when he married Sarah Ferguson and claimed he was known as “Randy Andy” among his friends.
It was claimed that a journalist had referred to the Duke of York as “Randy Andy and His Web of Armcandy” as he was always seen with beautiful women.
The documentary also claimed that Andrew may have had a closer relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell than was first believed.
Buckingham Palace royal protection officer Paul Page told the documentary: “From the way she was allowed to enter and exit the palace at will, we realised… suspected, that she may have had an intimate relationship with Prince Andrew.”
“A colleague of mine remembered her coming in four times in one day, from the morning till the evening. She kept coming in and out, in and out.”
ITV aired “Ghislaine, Prince Andrew and the Paedophile” on Tuesday which saw Good Morning Britain Political Editor Ranvir Singh explore the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell and the victims of Jeffrey Epstein.
In the documentary, Ms Singh read through Jeffrey Epstein’s black book and noted there were many names in it.
She told the show: “The names and numbers in here are vast it’s not exactly a little black book by any means.
“But one really catches your attention is the one up here and this is for the Duke of York.

“‘Duke of York, Buckingham Palace London’ his address, it says here and there are numbers for Sunning Hill, Wood Farm, his Equerry, Balmoral.
“There’s what looks like a mobile phone number on here for him, I’m going to give it a go.”
Ms Singh rang the number and seemingly got through to Andrew’s voicemail which said: “I’m afraid I’ve not been quick enough to get to the phone before it went off to take your message.
“If you do have a message please leave it and I will get back to you as soon as I can.”
The programme also spoke with Andrew’s ex-girlfriend Lady Victoria Hervey who claimed Ghislaine Maxwell used her to “fish for girls”.
Ahead of the show, Ms Singh shared her own experiences of sexual assault when she was a young girl during her appearance on Good Morning Britain.

She told hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid that she spoke with sexual assault survivor Lisa Phillips and shared her own experiences with her.
She said: “She’s on Zoom and I’m in the UK and I can’t physically comfort her in any way and it was just an instant thing.
“I felt quite a shocking sense of empathy with what she was describing.
“And I was acutely aware we were on camera but it’s a human-to-human experience when someone’s telling you something so painful.
“I did say to her, ‘Something happened to me when I was 12 and I understand you shouldn’t feel guilty about not…’”
