The Duchess of Sussex has spoken out in a bombshell interview about abortion rights after the Supreme Court made a decision to overturn Roe v Wade, which upheld the constitutional right to an abortion. Commenting on the landmark decision, Meghan said: “When you have anger, you have to channel that energy into something that makes a difference. That’s what activism is. It’s about how we show up.” She also appealed to men and women in the country to “band together and not wallow” despite the “sentiment of despair”. The court ruling has proved an extremely divisive issue, with protests and counter-protests erupting across the nation. Meanwhile, fears over police violence and attacks by anti-abortion activists have grown following a wave of incidents at demonstrations.
